Thousands of people have turned out in Melbourne to be thrilled by the spectacular White Night event.
It is the sixth time the spectacle has been held in the city, which sees the CBD flooded by crowds.
Roads were closed from around Federation Square on the Yarra River, all the way to Carlton Park, so people could stroll along and enjoy the show.
Among the highlights were special light shows projected onto iconic Melbourne buildings, like the Exhibition Hall.
Another favourite was a massive sculpture, called The Serpent Mother, which put on a show by spitting huge pillars of flame into the air.
The piece has featured at numerous Burning Man festivals in the United States, and pulled a large crowd in Melbourne.
Many families were in attendance for the first few hours of the evening, before tired children forced parents home.
Late at night, many were still lining up to get into buildings like the State Library, which featured entertainment.
The festival will run for 12 hours throughout the night, finishing up at 7:00am on Sunday morning.
Victoria Police are yet to confirm if any arrests were made during the evening.
