PRINCE Harry treated Meghan Markle on a whistlestop tour of Northern Ireland, by taking her to the pub.
The Royal couple set to marry in May stopped off at the Crown Liquor Saloon in Belfast where mobs of locals waited outside for a glimpse of the pair, The Sun reported.
They even sat down for a traditional Irish stew in the famous Belfast boozer.
Meghan wowed in a stunning green skirt and Victoria Beckham jumper as the couple touched down just one day after their royal wedding invitations were sent out.
The pair have been touring Britain ahead of their May wedding and on the whirlwind visit to Northern Ireland the prince will introduce his fiancée to the province of Ulster during a series of events.
In keeping with royal visits to Northern Ireland details were not released in advance and the itinerary was not disclosed for security reasons.
The pair visited the Eikon Exhibition Centre in Lisburn where they attended an event to mark the second year of youth-led peace-building initiative Amazing the Space.
Harry and Meghan began their day on the site of the former Maze paramilitary prison outside Lisburn where around 2,500 young people from both sides of the Irish border have gathered for a peace-building event.
The itinerary also included a visit to the Titanic Belfast and lunch at the city’s most iconic pub, Crown Liquor Saloon, a Victorian gin palace filled with a wealth of architectural features.
In Lisburn, they were greeted by Londonderry students Amber Hamilton, from Foyle College, and Ryan McCallion, from St Joseph’s Boys school, both 17, before meeting a number of dignitaries including Police Service of Northern Ireland Chief Constable George Hamilton.
The cross-community gathering will see teenagers share their hopes and dreams of a peaceful and reconciled future on the island of Ireland.
The US actress began her UK tour with Harry in Nottingham a few days after their engagement announcement at the end of November last year.
Previously, in Brixton, the historic home of London’s Caribbean community, Meghan and Harry visited a local community centre and a grime radio station where she admitted she is “so excited” about the wedding.
