Pink can give the world the finger and then melt our hearts.
We love her both ways.
As for the latter, take for example what the rock star did for a grieving fan during her concert in Brisbane, Australia.
Pink left the stage midshow to hug a teenager who announced on a homemade sign that her mother recently died and she needed a hug.
Leah Murphy from Townsville, Australia, was holding a sign that read, according to CBS News: "My name is Leah – I'm 14 years old. I lost my beautiful Mum last month. I would LOVE a hug…Please!"
Pink left the stage after spotting the sign and gave the teen a hug, said her aunt, who went to the concert with her.
"Pink said to her 'You're pretty - oh don't cry - it's going to be OK."
Before returning to the stage, Pink and Murphy took selfies.
Leah's mother had planned to see Pink perform in Sydney but died in June before she could. Then Leah planned to take her mother's place at the concert but Pink postponed the show because she was sick. So Leah's aunt, Katrina Donkin, bought a ticket to take her to the Brisbane concert.
She believes the teen's mother, who used to crank up Pink and dance around her house, had a hand in arranging Leah's meeting the tough-as-nails singer with a heart of gold.
"I believed she orchestrated the whole thing and sent her little girl a hug from heaven."
Pink never ceases to move us by always keeping it real.
