The post, a throwback picture of Philipps as a teenager, reveals that she was raped at age 14. The actress goes on to say she has been quiet about her assault for 25 years, having only told her parents four months ago. Philipps mentioned she discusses the rape in her forthcoming memoir. She wrote, “Today is the day we are silent no more. All of us. I’m scared to post this. I can't imagine what Dr. Ford is feeling right now.”
