Meghan Markle's estranged sister Samantha 'is on her way to UK for showdown talks'

MEGHAN Markle’s estranged sister Samantha is flying to Britain to have showdown talks over their dad’s health.

The 53-year-old is currently in Italy and her publicist confirmed that she is “coming to the UK this week, like it or not”.

Samantha, who has multiple sclerosis and is wheelchair bound, has not spoken to her famous sibling for the last decade.

She has taken part in a number of worldwide interviews to discuss her sister’s relationship with Prince Harry, 34, and says she is being ignored by Meghan.

Samantha was not in the UK for her wedding in Windsor in May earlier this year and their dad, 74-year-old Thomas Markle, stayed at home after undergoing heart surgery.

But she is now in Europe and posted a picture of herself inside an airport on Saturday, writing “new profile pic”.

PR manager Rob Cooper, who managed glamour model Josie Cunningham’s rise to stardom, announced Samantha’s whereabouts on Twitter.

He posted a picture of him with Samantha and wrote: “Samantha Markle is coming to the UK.

“After making numerous attempts in private to arrange a one on one meeting with The Duchess of Sussex to discuss their 74 year old father’s health, Kensington Palace have refused to respond.

“I fear Meghan may not be made aware of these discreet attempts and therefore making this public is the only option we have left.”

Samantha later begged Meghan to visit Thomas in America because “life is short” and said he just wants to “embrace her”.

She said: “He’s an incredible man, he’s been there for her entire life and made her everything that she is.

“I think it’s really important we stop building walls and start building bridges. I know he wants that.”

Kensington Palace has not commented on the matter.
