Game of Thrones season 8 spoilers: Jon Snow's ending REVEALED in shocking photo

Game of Thrones season eight is fast approaching and fans are desperate to know how the season will end.

One prevailing theory is that everyone will die, and that would be a very game of Thrones-esc way for the show to end.

Fans are desperate to know what will happen to Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington), and the overall consensus is that he’ll end up on the Iron Throne.

However, Harington’s recently posted a picture of himself which suggests the character won’t be coming back any time soon.

He’s had a haircut, which isn’t surprising considering he’s been sporting those long locks since the very beginning of the show.

Yet, it does suggest that Jon Snow won’t be making a comeback in any subsequent Game of Thrones spin-off series.

However, could Harington’s haircut also suggest that Jon won’t survive until the end of the series?

One of the theories fans have been coming up with is that the show will end with many of the major characters being killed off in the huge battle sequence that the show’s creators have been discussing.

Peter Dinklage even said that this new battle scene will but the Battle of the Bastards to shame.

“It makes the Battle of the Bastards look like a theme park,” he told Entertainment Weekly.e

This battle sequence was completed after a lengthy shoot at night in Toome, which is a location they’ve used for Winterfell.

Many people believe this battle scene will feature the Night King’s White Walkers making their way through Westeros.

This sequence will take place in an episode directed by Miguel Sapochnik who directed the Battle of the Bastards, so fast should know what to expect from this supposedly even more brutal battle scene.

"Part of our challenge, and really, Miguel’s challenge, is how to keep that compelling," co-showrunner David Benioff said.

Meanwhile, other fans are suggesting that Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) will clash in the final season.

Leotaku8 wrote on Reddit: “I’ve noticed a few parallels between the two that could make for an interesting dynamic between them. I'm sure there are more but to name a few.”

“They have both broken vows for the greater good (Jon breaking his oath of celibacy, Jaime being the Kingslayer).

“They both proposed single combat to end a war (Jon with Ramsay, Jaime with Robb).

“Both are, or have been, involved in incestuous relationships.

“Especially the last point. When Jon inevitably finds out about his Targaryen heritage I'd love to see what advice Jaime could give him on the matter,” the user finished.

Game of Thrones season eight returns Spring 2019, and the prequel is expected to debut a year later in 2020.
