The Queen spoke to Prince Harry about Meghan Markle’s attitude in the run-up to their wedding after a disagreement about which tiara she would wear, it was claimed yesterday.
Palace insiders spoke of “temper tantrums” when Ms Markle, now the Duchess of Sussex, was told that she would not be able to wear the tiara she had chosen. By tradition royal brides wear tiaras at their weddings. In the duchess’s case, it was expected to be one lent to her by the Queen.
