Angelina Jolie has now hinted that she may follow the path of Ronald Reagan and Arnold Schwarzenegger and enter US professional politics.

Jolie, 43, the Tomb Raider star, prompted fevered speculation today when she did not dismiss the possibility of a political career.

Asked whether she would ever consider running for office, Jolie, who is a special envoy to the UN and started an initiative with William Hague in 2013 to end sexual violence in wars, told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: “I really don’t know, I always say I’ll go where I’m needed.” Jolie, who had an acrimonious split with Brad Pitt, said that she could “take a lot on the…
