At first glance, Kim Kardashian’s outfit at the Versace show in New York looks like just another typical look for the reality TV star.

The metallic dress featured a plunging neckline and skimpy design which showcased the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star’s famous curves.

While it’s far from being the most racy outfit she has worn, it is one of the strangest, for reasons that are, quite literally, standing right next to Kim.

Husband Kanye West left the party bundled up in a coat, and a look at the people in the background of the shots shows them similarly attired in winter outwear.

But despite it being both night time and Winter, Kim has refused to let the colder weather kill her vibe and walked her way out of the event in just her skimpy dress.

Since the early days of her relationship with Kanye, Kim has admitted to taking fashion a lot more seriously, with the rapper overhauling her wardrobe and getting her to stop wearing too much colour and patterns.

In 2015, Kim admitted Kanye’s brutal purge of her clothing had left her in tears.

“They put everything that he thought wasn’t ‘cool enough’ in a pile, and I walked in and it was like a pile to the ceiling of shoes,” she told US talk show Live With Kelly & Michael.

“All my amazing shoes that I loved, and I started crying. I was like, ‘I can’t get rid of this stuff, your stylist has no idea what she’s talking about.’”

But Kim said Kanye later talked her around when he showed her some “really cool new designer stuff” he wanted her to wear instead and eventually made her “fall in love with fashion”.
