The Golden Globes are happening on Sunday Night in Los Angeles, and overnight, the Hollywood Foreign Press announced the finalised list of presenters for the event, including some of your faves and the stars of some of the year’s biggest films.
Leading off the list of people handing out awards are Ally and Jackson Maine – sorry, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper – who are both nominated for trophies on the big night. They’ll pretty much have to do some kind of A Star Is Born-related bit on stage, you would think.
Emily Blunt, Maya Rudolph, Amy Poehler and Lucy Liu will also present, joining Chris Pine, Gina Rodriguez, Rachel Weisz, Kristen Bell, Steve Carell, Taron Egerton, Olivia Colman, Richard Gere, Danai Gurira, Nicole Kidman and Megan Mullally.
They will join the list of names announced earlier this week, which includes Harrison Ford, Lupita Nyong’o, Gary Oldman, Sam Rockwell, Halle Berry, Chadwick Boseman, Saoirse Ronan, Michael B. Jordan, Sterling K. Brown and Jessica Chastain,
Did you think we were done? WE’RE NOT EVEN CLOSE.
Kaley Cuoco, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dick Van Dyke, Idris Elba, Johnny Galecki, Justin Hartley, Taraji P. Henson, Felicity Huffman, Allison Janney, William H. Macy, Chrissy Metz, Mike Myers, Jim Parsons, Octavia Spencer, Ben Stiller and Lena Waithe will also give out awards.
Last but not least, Catherine “Sick Of Apologising For Being Rich And Gorgeous” Zeta-Jones is also set to be a presenter, so sign us the fuck up for that.
The Golden Globes will kick off on Monday morning, Australian time, with Andy Samberg and Sandra Oh hosting. At this stage, it seems that no free-to-air networks will be broadcasting them, although you can catch them on Fox8 from 11am.
