Friends season 4: Super-creepy detail in TV show you never noticed - NEWS.com.au

You may think of yourself as a Friends expert, but we bet you didn’t notice this.

Even though it has been nearly 15 years since we said goodbye to our favourite show, we still can’t get enough of bingeing on re-runs — but only eagle-eyed fans will have spotted this creepy gaffe, reports The Sun.

Some ultimate Friends followers have noticed something spooky in a scene in The One With Rachel’s New Dress.

The season four episode sees Jennifer Aniston’s character Rachel plan a romantic date for her love interest as they prepare to spend their first night together.

However, things start to go wrong when Joshua reveals his fear of farm birds after seeing Joey and Chandler’s chick and duck.

The couple then go to Joshua’s parents house, where Rachel slips into some revealing negligee only for his parents to arrive home early from their holiday.

However, Reddit audiences have now noticed that a pair of eyes on a statue in the background light up in red during the middle of this scene, with no explanation whatsoever.

The haunting eyes then appear to go black again in the blink of an eye.

Last year, fans also spotted something they had never seen before in a scene with Rachel and Joey.

A clip shared on Twitter shows how actor Matt Le Blanc, who also starred in Friends spin-off Joey, just couldn’t help but mouth Jennifer’s lines during one episode — at the exact moment she said them herself.

In the scene, featured in the episode The One Where Ross Dates A Student, Rachel is wildly throwing wet paper towels at Joey’s cupboard and declares: “I love it at Joey’s!”

And right behind her, but perhaps with not quite so much gusto, Matt mouths exactly the same thing.

Friends started way back in 1994 and quickly became the biggest sitcom in TV history.

Monica, Rachel, Joey, Phoebe, Ross and Chandler all became household names and made superstars of the actors that played them.

Sadly, all good things must come to an end, and after 236 episodes and 10 series, the show came to an end in 2004.
