Hero Fiennes Tiffin is the hot, new Hollywood celebrity you need to know about - NEWS.com.au

It’s time for us all to become well acquainted with Hero Fiennes-Tiffin.

First thing’s first; no, his name is not made up. It is his actual name and he is an actual, living person! And, as I said, he’s a person you should know now.

Because there’s a good chance he’s about to be everywhere. As the star of the upcoming film, After, which is basically the love child of Harry Styles and Fifty Shades of Grey, he will be the centre of thousands of fan accounts and even more Instagram pages.

He’s not quite like your other Hollywood heart-throbs that are dominating at the moment, though. He’s more brooding than Noah Centineo and less artsy than Cole Sprouse. But he is absolutely a snack.

And you always want to be ahead of these things, so here we’ve accumulated all we know about the man with the exceptionally long (and, let’s face it; semi-obnoxious) name, Hero Fiennes-Tiffin.

HIS NAME GETS MORE OUTRAGEOUS

Hero’s middle name is Bouregard. Hero Bouregard Fiennes-Tiffin. Try saying that six times fast!

HE HAS GOOD GENES

He comes from a family that is very well embedded into the entertainment industry. Not only is his father, George Tiffin, a director and mother, Martha Fiennes, a director of photography, but he’s also got a pair of very famous uncles. Yes, Ralph and Joseph Fiennes are the men to whom I refer. Which are pretty phenomenal genes, if you ask me. Here’s hoping Hero has similar roles to his uncles’ if he’s really going to become a British icon (of our hearts).

YOU’VE SEEN HIM BEFORE

If he seems marginally familiar, it’s probably because you’ve seen him before. Hero starred in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince as young Voldemort, or Tom Riddle.

Some people (who are evidently not-such-huge-fans of Hero) allege that he got the part only because of his familial resemblance to Ralph, who played Voldemort. Director David Yates refuted these claims though, telling Entertainment Weekly that Hero earned the role for his ability to find “the darker space” when reading lines and because he “got the corners and dark moods and odd spirit of the character”.

The director insisted that Hero was “very focused and disciplined” when playing the role and that he had a “wonderful haunted quality that seemed to bring Tom Riddle alive on-screen for us”.

HE’S ABOUT TO BE THE SOURCE OF MILLIONS OF GIRLS’ AFFECTION

Hero is set to star in After, the Harry Styles fan-fiction that sent literally more than a billion people into a tizz when it was posted on Wattpad by Anna Todd in 2013. As Hardin Scott, he will be a mysterious British bad boy who steals the heart of college freshman, Tessa Young. Hero’s character is inspired by Harry Styles and thus, as you can expect, is the object of many-a woman’s desire. The book series that the film is based on has five instalments, so if the film goes well, expect Hardin Scott to be the next Edward Cullen or Christian Grey.

HE’S SINGLE

And even more than that, he’s never been in a serious relationship before. Talking to Elle, he revealed, “Interestingly enough, I’ve never had, like, a proper relationship. I haven’t had a girl I would call my girlfriend.” Which is excellent news for all of the aforementioned women who will be sliding into his DMs as soon as he hits the mainstream.

HE’S A SCORPIO

Born on November 6, 1997, Hero is a Scorpio. Which is great news, but also not-so-great news.

What does that mean exactly? Well, Scorpios are rather ‘intense’; they are passionate, emotional, and secretive and love intimacy. They’re all-or-nothing kinds of people which maybe explains why Hero has never been in a serious relationship before; he could be a typical Scorpio in that if he’s going to be in a relationship — it’s all-in. But there are also downsides of Scorpio men. They can get incredibly jealous and are often a bit controlling, so enter with caution.

HE’S DEFINITELY HAD AN EVOLVING STYLE

A visit to Hero’s Instagram reveals his style to be quintessential London Lad: jeans with sneakers, small bag draped across the body, silver chain necklace, Burberry scarf and dart in hand. More recently, though, his style has evolved somewhat.

No doubt, this is in large part due to his fashion modelling career that includes walking for Dolce and Gabbana, and star in the Baz Luhrmann-directed short film for the Erdem H&M collection.

HE HAS GOOD TASTE IN MUSIC

Like most young men who have grown up in London, Hero has great music taste and is a fan of grime. He even posted a photo with one of the most prominent grime rappers, Stormzy.

HE HAS A DOG

His name is Diesel and he’s very cute.
