Meghan Markle’s estranged father has described being cut out of his grandson Archie’s life as “abuse”.
Thomas Markle Snr blasted Meghan and son-in-law Prince Harry for not even sending him a photo of his grandson, saying the only images he had seen of the baby were
those posted on the internet.
Speaking out for the first time since the birth of his grandson, Thomas Markle told The Mail on Sunday he thought the royal couple were hypocrites for promoting themselves as climate change activists when they used private jets.
“I would like them to send me a picture of Archie so I can frame it and put it on my wall beside the one of Meghan,” he told The Mail on Sunday.
“Isn’t that what any grandfather would want?
“I’d love to know if he’s got the famous Markle nose.”
He and Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, divorced when Meghan was aged six.
Mr Markle, who lives in Mexico, caused an uproar when he posed for staged paparazzi photos in the run-up to Meghan and harry’s wedding.
He did not attend the Windsor Castle ceremony - citing health reasons - and his daughter was walked down the aisle by Prince Charles instead.
