“Hey, I’m suffering with chronic pain, a neurological disease, Ehlers-Danlos and I just wanted to say to those of you suffering from pain, whether physical or emotional, I love you, keep going,” the 43-year-old tweeted to her 3.8 million followers.

People with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, known as EDS, usually have hyper-mobile joints and stretchy, fragile skin.

There are 13 subgroups of the genetic disease and symptoms can include eye, digestive and bone growth issues.

Most forms of the condition affect one in 5000 people worldwide.

There is no cure for the disease, but symptoms can be treated and managed.

In 2010, Sia was diagnosed with the thyroid condition Graves’ disease.

She has also opened up about addiction in the past, including struggles with Vicodin and Oxycodone – but in 2018 she said she had been sober for eight years.
