Justin Timberlake has shared plenty of romantic Instagram posts with his wife. But this has to be a first.
On Wednesday, the actor and musician took to social media to apologize to his partner, Jessica Biel, and to their son, for the musician's "strong lapse in judgment."
The statement comes weeks after paparazzi photos of Timberlake holding hands with Alisha Wainwright, the star of "Raising Dion" and his co-star on forthcoming drama "Palmer," surfaced on British tabloid The Sun.
Timberlake wrote, "I drank way too much that night and regret my behavior," he said, apparently referencing the evening that the photos were snapped in New Orleans, "but let me be clear - nothing happened between me and my costar."
He continued: "I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focusing on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that."
Timberlake and Biel have been married since October 2012, when they tied the knot in Southern Italy. The couple welcomed son Silas in April 2015.
Since then, the two have had plenty of PDA moments and shared a multitude of couple photos on their social accounts. Most recently, they posted their hilarious coordinated Halloween costume for this year: Biel was JT in his N'SYNC days, and Timberlake was a microphone.
