Princess Anne is trending on Twitter after a clip of the royal seemingly being scolded by her mum, Queen Elizabeth has gone viral.
The moment appears to be a sassy snub by the Princess Royal of Donald and Melania Trump during the NATO reception at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday night.
"The Queen chastising Princess Anne for not greeting Trump and Anne not giving a single shit is the mood we all need to take into today," the short video is captioned in a tweet by Guardian journalist Hannah Jane Parkinson.
However, at the end of the clip — which has had hundreds of thousands of views — aides can be seen laughing as Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall look on.
It's not known what Princess Anne told the Queen but with up-turned palms the 69-year-old stays firmly in line and does not come forward to the US President and First Lady.
And while the British Royal Family are known for staying neutral on the topic of politics, Princess Anne was in a group of politicians laughing and reportedly gossiping about Trump.
In footage recorded during a reception at Buckingham Palace Tuesday evening, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was seen standing in a huddle with French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
After Johnson asked Macron, "is that why you were late?" Trudeau could be heard saying "he was late because he takes a 40-minute press conference off the top."
That appeared to be a reference to Trump's long and unscheduled question-and-answer session with journalists earlier Tuesday.
Trudeau also said: "You just watched his team's jaws drop to the floor."
Trump wasn't mentioned by name during the exchange.
Footage of the palace reception was recorded by a pool camera. It was posted online by Canadian broadcaster CBC and has been viewed more than 4 million times.
