Emma Watson Has the Last Word on Her 'Time's Up' Tattoo Typo

And it's correctly spelled, too.

Emma Watson accessorized with some eye-catching (fake) ink for Vanity Fair’s Oscars party on Sunday (Mar. 4), but her temporary Time’s Up tattoo drew plenty of attention -- both for its powerful message, and its noticeable lack of an apostrophe.

Thankfully, she’s laughing at the body art snafu along with everyone else, and she took to Twitter to jab at the skin statement.

Watson has been a vocal supporter of the Time’s Up movement since the initiative launched on January 1, and this wasn’t the first time she hit a red carpet this awards season to use her platform for good. She brought friend and activist Marai Larasi -- who directs Imkaan, a U.K.-based organization working to prevent and address violence against black and minority ethnic women and girls -- to the 2018 Golden Globe Awards, and spent the majority of her time before the ceremony raising awareness for Larasi’s work and the movements they both support.

Though the typo tattoo got its own spotlight for an accidental reason, Watson's heart was absolutely in the right place -- even if the apostrophe was not.

Let's block ads! (Why?)
