MAFS bride Tracey reveals surprise new boyfriend after dumping Dean

TRACEY Jewel has revealed she’s got a new boyfriend after sensationally dumping Dean Wells at their commitment ceremony on Married At First Sight.

Viewers were left shocked during last night’s episode of the reality show, when series “villain” Dean began crying as he confessed his love to Tracey, only to have her tell him she was done with the relationship while he watched on in horror.

Over the past few weeks, there’s been plenty of speculation that Tracey has since moved on with another contestant from the show, Sean Thomsen — joining the trend of partner-swapping Married stars.

Just last week, photos surfaced of the two of them taken at a Bali hotel last month, and they were also spotted hanging out together in Sydney in January.

Speaking to Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa this morning, Tracey revealed that she’d found love again shortly after the emotional breakup scene was filmed in late November last year.

She admitted her and her new boyfriend had met “before Christmas”, but refused to confirm that it was Sean, who was originally partnered with Blair Rachael.

“Nothing happened while I was on the show, obviously I was with Dean,” Tracey told the hosts, adding that fans would find out the identity of her new boyfriend before the end of the show.

Despite the breakup, Tracey insisted she still has a “good friendship” with Dean.

“I called him after that final day to make sure he was OK ... We’ve been in touch this whole time.”

Tracey wouldn’t comment on whether Dean had a new girlfriend, but joked: “Who knows? He might have found a few people — Dean’s capable of anything.”

Dean broke his silence on the dramatic scene after the episode aired, admitting that he was blindsided by her decision to leave him.

“I was really confident until she turned around and said, ‘You don’t deserve me,’” he told Nine’s The Fix. “As soon as those words came out of her mouth, I was like, ‘What’s going on here?’ I wasn’t expecting that at all.”

He also described what happened immediately afterwards.

“Tracey kind of got ushered off into her car and driven off. Not long after that [the crew] were just kinda like, ‘Oh well, that’s it, Dean. See ya later,’ and I got put into a car and was driven off to my hotel,” he said.

“On the way back to the hotel, Tracey had messaged me and tried to call me, but I just didn’t really feel like talking to her at that point, so I didn’t answer the call for a few hours after that ... We didn’t talk for a while after that, but we did talk later that night.”

Married At First Sight continues at 7.30pm tonight on Channel Nine.
