Edwina Bartholomew marries Neil Varcoe in farmhouse wedding

SUNRISE star Edwina Bartholomew has tied the knot with her partner of seven years Neil Varcoe in a stunning farm wedding.

The pair first met when they were working at radio station 2GB and have been dating ever since.

Their wedding is exactly a year after Neil proposed to Edwina at their Warramba property, which sits in between Lithgow and Mudgee in New South Wales.

In a statement today, Edwina said the couple had “felt very loved” since announcing their engagement last year.

“It’s so wonderful to be able to share our wedding photos with all of our wonderful Sunrise viewers. Everyone has been so kind since we announced our engagement last April. We have felt very loved,” she said.

The couple are expected to party late into the night with their 160 guests — made of up family, old friends and most of the Sunrise team where Edwina has worked since 2011.

The TV star is the third in her family to wear her stunning wedding dress.

The delicate, lace-detailed gown was first worn by her much-loved grandmother in 1944 and her veil was given to her great grandmother by her sister for her wedding in 1915.

It was lovingly restored by Melbourne designer, Sonia Cappellazzo, who owns Cappellazzo Couture.

Cappellazzo was the stylist who dressed Eddy when she hosted Dancing With The Stars.

Aric Yegudkin was another Dancing With The Stars alum that Eddy used for the wedding, getting the professional performer to help them with their first dance.

“Loved helping you guys with your wedding dance, not that you needed much help,” Aric wrote on Instagram earlier.

The couple planned the entire wedding themselves, getting their friend to make the cake and Eddy is believed to have been very hands on with picking the floral arrangements.

Now that the ceremony is finished and Eddy and Neil are married, guests are gearing up to dance through the night and enjoy food and wine all sourced locally in Mudgee and the NSW Central Coast.

The couple’s wedding gift for guests was honey made on their farm.

And for the 60 guests who don’t live near the Capertee Valley where the couple’s 100 acre property is located, Eddy and Neil have surrounded their renovated, 1890s sandstone cottage with dozens of glamping tents.

The couple started the farmhouse renovation two years ago when they bought the expansive property, naming it Warramba when it was finished.
