GLEE star Kevin McHale has announced he is gay in a tribute to Ariana Grande’s latest song.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote: “#NoTearsLeftToCry is gayer than me and I ACCEPT. Ty @arianaGrande.”
He hasn’t publicly spoken about his sexuality before.
But last week, the 29-year-old posted a picture of him cuddling up a man, thought to be actor Austin McKenzie, The Sun reported.
He simply captioned it: “#mycoachella.”
After gushing about the track, Kevin also requested that Ariana, 24, teams up with Janet Jackson.
He tweeted: “I’d like to request a remix with @JanetJackson. ty for ur time. @ArianaGrande.”
Kevin played Artie Abrams in Glee for six seasons.
His character was left paraplegic by a car crash he was involved in as a child.
No Tears Left To Cry is Ariana’s first single since the Manchester Arena bombing, which happened at her concert on 22 May 2017.
Fans have now praised Kevin for his bravery.
One fan replied to his tweet: “So proud. We love you.”
Another wrote: You’re so brave and still so loved by everybody. Thank you for your honesty.”
A third added: “So proud. This makes me so happy. The power of music.”
