Musician Dan Sultan has postponed the remainder of his Australian tour a day after apologising for his "inexcusable and disrespectful" behaviour during a show in Cairns.
Sultan's management said it hoped to reschedule the shows planned through next month "once Dan makes a full recovery".
"We apologise to Dan's fans for any inconvenience this may cause," it said in a statement on the singer's Facebook page.
"Dan's health and wellbeing is our highest priority at this time and we thank you for your ongoing understanding and support."
Many people left comments on the singer's Facebook page over the weekend, criticising his Saturday night performance at the Tank Arts Centre.
In a clip posted to social media, Sultan can be seen singing out of tune and forgetting the words while performing a cover of the Britney Spears track Baby One More Time.
Some fans left the concert, during which Sultan fell off a stool he was sitting on, while others called it "upsetting" to see such a talented musician in that state.
On Monday, Sultan apologised.
"I am taking stock of my personal situation and am seeking professional help," he said.
Fans can either hold onto their tickets, which will be valid once the shows are rescheduled, or get a refund from wherever they bought them.
