The X-rated Love Island moment viewers didn't get to see

IT’S the controversial reality TV show which sees singles paired together in the hopes of finding love — or at least to get a better Instagram following.

But while Love Island Australia gives viewers a fly-on-the-wall look at life inside the mansion, many of the show’s X-rated moments don’t make it to air due to broadcasting restrictions.

Kim Hartnett, who was eliminated on Tuesday night’s episode, said contestants are “100 per cent” having sex inside the house, but it just doesn’t get shown on TV.

“It’s pretty obvious for the audience to know which ones are doing it,” she told news.com.au.

While she abstained from getting intimate with Josh in their bed, Kim revealed there was one unnamed couple who were very vocal about their sexual exploits.

“I think the first night they did it they full-on had an audience, everyone was sitting up and watching them,” she said.

“Then it just got to the point where you were used to it. It was kind of like a bedtime lullaby, if they didn’t do it you’d be like, ‘what’s going on?’”

Out of all the girls, Erin wasn’t afraid to share details of her exploits with Eden with the other contestants.

“Erin was literally walking around the night I got there being like, ‘I’m getting laid tonight guys!’’’ Kim said.

The constant filming on Love Island Australia means contestants had virtually no privacy to get intimate or if they wanted some, ahem, private time.

“There is no place in that house that doesn’t have a camera, even the bathroom had a camera,” Kim said.

“When you first get in there every single girl was like, ‘I haven’t pooped in like three days!’

“It’s just so awkward going into the bathroom and seeing the camera looking at you.”

Kim, who is a single mum to two-year-old son Braxton, said while Love Island Australia was a fun experience she wasn’t interested in another reality TV show.

“I was literally outside crying every single night from missing home and bub,” she said. “It was harder than I could even imagine.”

Love Island Australia airs on 9NOW and 9GO Sunday to Thursday at 8.30pm
