Well-known SBS presenter Lee Lin Chin has resigned from the broadcaster, sparking a wave of tributes on social media and praise for her work of over 30 years.
Chin told Ten Daily's Sandra Sully there were several "small to medium-sized reasons" for her resignation, but would not elaborate.
Chin is often characterised as a queen and boss, and there have calls over the years by fans for her to take the helm as leader of the nation.
But she wasn't always the beer-swilling, self-proclaimed "Queen of Australian TV", whose sassy tweets tend to rack up thousands of likes and retweets and who picked an online fight with Pauline Hanson.
SBS' comedy show The Feed first recruited Chin to play "an exaggerated version of herself" back in 2013, where she initially presented comedic segments like "Celebrity Chin-Wag".
The off-beat skits went viral, and the persona was further cultivated on Twitter with the help of comedy writer Chris Leben. That said, an SBS insider told the Sydney Morning Herald that Chin could actually be quite funny, "which she is never allowed to be on the news".
