Stormi Webster must be keeping her parents awake at night, because Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott looked to be near asleep during Jennifer Lopez’s performance at this year’s MTV VMAs.

As the superstar took the stage to perform a medley of her certified bangers as she accepted the video vanguard award, the camera cut to the crowd who were understandably out of their seats and losing themselves to the music.

You could say they were getting loud. Or waiting for tonight. Maybe they just wanted her to play that song because they wanted to be dancing all night long.

Okay enough of that.

Anyway, the camera cut to Kylie and Travis because surely, SURELY, they’d be out of their seats, right?

Travis being a rapper and member of the music industry and Kylie being the pop culture phenomenon she is.

But, nope. They both appeared to be pretty dang drowsy, as they attempted to bob their head along.

Her dance don’t cost a thing…

Kylie, with her arm wrapped through Travis’, sort of bopped her head along slowly, as her babydaddy attempted to do the same while he seemed to be using his left arm to hold up his head.

They’re cool, they have a rep, we get it.

But it’s J-flippin’-Lo! If anyone cool cats are allowed to let their hair down and really get into things it’s during a JLo performance.

Fans were not happy, as they accused the reality star and make up mogul of ‘disrespecting’ Jennifer.

Others just couldn’t believe anyone was sitting down during her energetic performance.

In fact, A-Rod couldn’t keep his eyes – and phone – off Jenny From The Block as she twerked around the stage with pal Ja Rule. An eagle-eyed fan spotted the athlete looking pretty impressed at her dance moves.

And honestly, who can blame him?

Taking to the podium afterwards to accept her MoonMan, she said: ‘I grew up on MTV, and this is really like a tremendous honour for me. It has been an incredible journey of dreaming my wildest dreams and then watching them come true.

‘Music, acting, performing, this career, has always been kind of an obsession for me, people telling me you doing too much, you can only do one thing, I always had it in my mind as a person to be like ‘why not?’ so I kind of had to forge my own path and make my own rules.

‘I liked it that way for a while just working and working. But it wasn’t till I had two little angels come into my life everything changed, I knew I had to be better, I knew I had to be higher and stronger than I had been before.

‘Now today I stand here stronger and better than ever.’
