The big risk Princess Eugenie is taking with her wedding

PRINCESS Eugenie is reportedly set to take the big risk of having her wedding reception outside as she marries her fiance Jack Brooksbank later this year.

The 28-year-old daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson has opted for the use of a marquee in the back garden of their royal property rather than have an indoor reception.

The choice to forgo other enclosed options may result in regret as October is one of the rainiest months of the year in the UK.

While the royal couple had a multitude of options for indoor royal properties, the couple will take the risk of an outdoor reception during the British autumn.

The wedding reception is being organised with the help of Eugenie mother Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York who is also known affectionately as Fergie.

It had been previously reported that Princess Eugenie’s wedding reception would take place at the Royal Lodge in Windsor, where she grew up.

Their wedding is set to take place at nearby St George’s Chapel on October 12, at the same venue where her cousin Prince Harry married Meghan Markle.

Security is expected to be tight at the wedding reception which anticipates members of the royal family as well as celebrities. Family friends Ellie Goulding and Sir Elton John are expected to make an appearance at the wedding.

Eugenie and Brooksbank’s wedding comes seven years into their relationship.
