Cardi B and Nicki Minaj get in massive fight at Harper's Bazaar New York Fashion Week event

THERE has been a major scuffle between rival rappers Cardi B and Nicki Minaj at the swanky Harper’s Bazaar Icons fashion week bash.

The wild skirmish, which happened at luxury venue the Plaza in New York, included hair-pulling and shoe throwing, according to TMZ.

The pair, decked in black tie gowns, were walking off the red carpet when they crossed paths and things came to blows.

“It was bad,” a source told the New York Post.

“They were separated by security, but Cardi was still trying to get at her. She took off a giant red shoe and threw it at Nicki — who was being blocked up against a wall by huge security guard.”

Cardi was then led into another room while Nicki was held back with security in front of her.

“There was a giant fist full of hair on the floor. One of Cardi’s assistants came and grabbed it and took it with her.”

A source said: “Cardi was escorted out … She has a knot on her forehead from getting hit.”

Cardi was photographed leaving with what appeared to be a massive egg on her head, however it is not known exactly how she got it.

Another source said: “it started because someone pushed Cardi from behind. She went flying.”

But a different source said it was Cardi who started it.

Another witness said that members of the rappers’ entourages — including Love and Hip Hop star Rah Ali, who was with Nicki — got involved, and that Cardi’s dress wound up ripped.

“It was ripped totally down the back. Her a — was showing,” said a gobsmacked fashionista of the scene.

Another witness said: “Cardi’s standing there with her dress ripped and underwear showing and yelling with a bunch of guys holding her back.”

One guest’s video allegedly shows Ali “trying to go after Cardi after Nicki was against the wall, and Cardi screaming obscenities”.

In a statement of sorts after the incident, Cardi B posted on Instagram: “I’ve worked to [sic] hard and come too far to let anybody f — k with my success! Bitches talk all that s — t in they raps but in real life they p — y. This s — t really is for entertainment!”

Cardi also seemed to claim on Instagram that what set her off were comments about her newborn daughter. She wrote: “I addressed you once in person, I addressed you a second time in person, and every time you copped the plea!! But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f — kin off!!”

While the fight was going down, Christina Aguilera was performing inside the party where guests included Kendall Jenner, Gigi and Bella Hadid and Christie Brinkley.

The complicated relationship between Cardi B and Minaj dates back to 2017 when they began taking digs at one another in their various songs, social media posts and interviews.
