According to reports Meghan Markle’s mother Doria Ragland visited the Duchess and her husband this summer.
She is said to have stayed with them in in Oxfordshire.
A source told the Mail on Sunday: "The visit was totally under the radar.
“Doria supported Meghan throughout a lot of the ordeal with Thomas."

The area is said to be one of “Outstanding Natural Beauty” with rolling hills and sone built towns.
Before their wedding Prince Harry and Meghan stayed in the Cotswolds.
They were reported to have booked a four bed cottage.
A source told the Sun at the time: “The run-up to the wedding has been quite stressful for them and they just wanted to get away and relax before the big day.
“They like to escape to the country for the weekend and the cottage is just perfect for them.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s cottage, which they have leased long term, is in the Great Tew Estate.
It is part of the exclusive private members club Soho Farmhouse, where Meghan has visited with Made in Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh and is also reported to have held her hen do there.
The website states: “The Great Tew Estate has a variety of residential properties within its portfolio, ranging from one-bed cottages to large detached farmhouses.”
While it is not known how much a lease will cost here, houses for sale in the area are pricey.
Current properties for sale in the area of Chipping Norton include a four bed house accepting offers in excess of £725,000.
Before Meghan was with Prince Harry she was divorce.
Meghan Markle and Trevor Engelson were together for seven years before the actress married the Jewish producer in a ceremony in Jamaica on September 10, 2011 in Ocho Rios.
