AHHH, there's nothing like an awkward moment captured on live television to make your weekend.
A short clip featuring two TV presenters has gone viral the male co-host fell out of his chair while trying to take a selfie.
Fox News contributor Raymond Arroyo was taking a photo with host Laura Ingraham while the pair held beers, in a now-viral segment that aired earlier today.
In the clip, Arroyo instructs Ingraham to grab a beer and hold it up while he “takes a quick selfie” of the two of them.
“Smile!” she says.
As he re-positions his arm to get a better shot, Arroyo tumbles backwards, falling off his chair onto the ground off-camera.
Ingraham awkwardly moves onto the next topic.
“Oh, the ACLU used to care about the rights of accused…” she starts, before adding: “Check on him please, medic!”
The clip immediately went viral on Twitter, with high-profile celebrities including James Corden, Seth Rogen and Jon Favreau all sharing it:
I can’t stop watching this. pic.twitter.com/7GVvCLKR6M

I’m going to watch this an absurd number of times

But after the incident, Ingraham explained that it was actually scripted.
Taking to Twitter, she said that it was a joke based on an earlier story about people dying while trying to take selfies in risky situations.
For all of you concerned viewers, @RaymondArroyo’s fall during our Kavanaugh-Toast selfie was a JOKE...a pratfall after a long week. #Laughter #selfiecide

The context was not included in the viral clip, which made the incident seem organic and unscripted.
Still kinda funny.
