IT'S the question the world is dying to know: are Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss still friends?
The 26-year-old supermodel put an end to rumours when she was recently showcased as part of Vogue Magazine's 73 Questions interview series.
Covering and range of topics from workouts to weddings - one of 73 successive queries was directed at her formerly-inseparable friendship with the Bad Blood singer.
Rumours began circulating earlier this year that things may have turned sour between the two after the 28-year-old songstress did not acknowledge Kloss' engagement to Joshua Kushner on social media.
The off-screen interviewer inquired on behalf of eager viewers: "I just have to get this out of the way, because the world deserves to know: is everything cool with you and Taylor?"
The supermodel responded with a laugh as she said: "The world needs to know?"
Purring an end of the rumours, she continued: "Well, Jennifer Lawrence was interested. Jen, don't worry, Taylor and I are still really good friends."
The two have been friends since 2012 after Taylor Swift appeared on the cover of Vogue and was quoted as saying: "I love Karlie Kloss … I want to bake cookies with her!".
The model promptly replied with a tweet that read: "Hey @taylorswift13 love the @voguemagazine cover! Your kitchen or mine? :)"
But fans need not to worry. Kloss posted a few snaps from backstage at Swift's Reputation tour in Nashville in August.
Kloss announced her engagement in July this year on Instagram with the caption: "I love you more than I have words to express. Josh, you're my best friend and my soulmate. I can't wait for forever together. Yes a million times over."
Shortly after the engagement announcement, Ivanka Trump, who is married to Joshua's brother Jared, congratulated the couple on social media.
Kloss has since told Vogue in a separate interviewthat she chooses rely on her own "moral compass" when it comes to her love life and her connection to US President Donald Trump.
"At the end of the day, I've had to make decisions based on my own moral compass - forget what the public says, forget social media," She said.
"I've chosen to be with the man I love despite the complications. It's frustrating, to be honest, that the spotlight is always shifted away from my career toward my relationship. I don't think the same happens in conversations with men."
