New Details About Channing Tatum And Jessie J's Relationship — Including The Rumors She Looks Just Like His Ex

The "Magic Mike" actor has a new beauty in his life six months after splitting with his wife.

The mixture of sadness and excitement that we all felt following Channing Tatum’s split with his wife of nine years, Jenna Dewan, turned out to be short-lived.

Six months after the couple announced their heartbreaking split, and much to the dismay of fangirls everywhere, the Magic Mike actor appears to be happily dating British singer and songwriter Jessie J. A source close to the couple told Us Weekly that the two have been dating for a couple of months.

Jessie cryptically hinted at their relationship a month ago when she tweeted a photo of herself alongside the caption: After this picture was taken I put 'Pony' on and danced around my hotel room like a lunatic." Of course, no one can forget the dance Channing did to "Pony" in Magic Mike.

It doesn't seem like Jenna is too upset that someone else is now enjoying Channing's dance moves. According to Us Weekly, she is "just fine."

“They split because they knew they shouldn’t be together anymore, and they’ve both moved on and are fine with their lives now,” a source claims. “They’re both dating other people and are both doing just fine with it, and they are co-parenting Everly the best anyone could ever ask for.”

According to Fox News, Jenna was spotted (and photographed) looking happy and healthy at Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday. While she is single (as far as anyone knows), she has reportedly been on several dates since the split.

Channing’s split from his wife came as a shock to fans, as the two were notoriously compatible and have a 5-year-old daughter, Everly, together. When they announced the breakup, they told People that they still loved each other and that the split was not malicious.

“There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision — just two best-friends realizing it’s time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible,” they concluded in a joint statement on social media.

Jenna also noted in an interview with Women’s Health that the split was healthy and that it will allow them both to grow.

Clearly, Channing Tatum is not taking the breakup too difficultly. While his fling with Jessie J is still in the casual stage, the two seem to be thoroughly enjoying each other’s company.

He has been spotted at several of Jessie J’s concerts in recent weeks, and one Twitter user reported running into the couple playing mini golf. The two notably met for possibly the first time in 2015 when Jessie J and Mark Wahlberg presented Tatum with an MTV Movie Award for Best Comedic Performance.

Since the rumors of the relationship began spreading, Twitter has been abrupt in making observations about the relationship. Most of all, fans are pointing out that Jessie J looks … familiar.

With a short, dark bob haircut and striking features, Channing’s ex and current girlfriend could almost be twins.

“Just said the other day that Jenna Dewan looks like Jessie J. Channing has a type for sure,” noted Twitter user @TylerDavis93.

Another Twitter user noted that the new coupling “doesn’t add up.” While Jessie J is physically similar to Jenna Dewan, the two do not have much else in common.

Jessie J and Channing Tatum are pretty unexpected as a pair with completely different careers and backgrounds, so the similar looks seem to be a key component of Channing’s choice.

Yet, Jessie J has plenty to offer besides simply being a body double of Channing’s ex. While Dewan is an actress, Jessie J is an accomplished musician with international hits including “Bang Bang” and “Price Tag.”

For now, it seems as though both Channing and Jenna are mutually thriving six months after they announced their plans to divorce.
