Princess Eugenie shared the sweetest never-seen throwback photo from her royal wedding

Everyone loves a nostalgic throwback photo – even royal women like Princess Eugenie! The brunette beauty took to her personal Instagram on Thursday (Nov. 22) to share the sweetest of flashbacks, naming it “THE greatest day of my life.” We’re willing to bet you can guess which day that is!

On Oct. 12, the princess said “I do” to the love of her life, Jack Brooksbank. Walking down the aisle of St. George’s Chapel, arm in arm with her father, Prince Andrew, it’s plain to see how this occasion is the highlight of her life thus far. Posting a stunning black-and-white portrait with her newly minted husband, the photos shows off her dress’s long train and her stunning Greville Emerald Kokoshnik tiara. The 28-year-old included the ubiquitous Thursday hashtag “#tbt.”

Much like the beautiful royal, her fans are just as delighted to reminisce over the stunning day, the second royal wedding of the year following Prince Harry and Meghan’s nuptials at the very same venue. One fan wrote, “You were a gorgeous bride and your wedding was joyous and spectacular! I hope you and your husband have many wonderful and happy years together,” while another gushed, “You are absolutely stunning! Congratulations and best wishes to the bride and broom!”

And stunning she was! Sarah Ferguson’s daughter dazzled in a very unique wedding gown, which boasted long sleeves, an off-the-shoulder neckline and the most beautiful embroidered fabric – all a wonderful creation by British designer Peter Pilotto. To make an already meaningful gown even more heartfelt, Eugenie shirked the tradition of wearing a veil and requested that the designer make the dress in such a way that would show off her surgical scars on her back – a reminder that her scoliosis scars are beautiful and make her who she is.

Princess Eugenie’s social media account is chock full of throwback photos, easily her favourite genre of post! Given how close she is with her sister, Princess Beatrice, it’s no surprise that the 30 year old – who’s recently been linked to multi-millionaire Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi – often makes appearances in these nostalgic posts. On Beatrice’s 30^th birthday, her royal sister shared a series of adorable photos (the first one being a major #TBT featuring Baby Beatrice and her mom) to commemorate the milestone.
