Less than eight months after the royal wedding, another Markle is set to tie the knot.

Meghan Markle’s estranged half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr, 52, has revealed he plans to marry fiancee Darlene Blount, 38, in March.

It follows a turbulent year for the couple, who have both been arrested for domestic violence during alcohol-fuelled arguments.

The Oregon-based window-fitter told the Daily Mail that Prince Harry and Meghan were invited — and that he hoped the wedding would “bring the family closer together”.

“It’s hopeful that if Meghan and Harry came and my father — Meghan and Harry could spend some time together with him and that would be good,” he told the publication.

It’s understood Meghan, who’s pregnant with her first child, has had no interaction with her half-brother in years.

On the very slim chance the Duchess of Sussex would even consider attending, the fact she’ll be either heavily pregnant or have actually given birth in March means she has a ready-made excuse to stay home.

His frequent public digs at his sibling before, during, and after her wedding has hardly helped mend the situation — in fact, just days before Meghan walked down the aisle, Thomas wrote a scathing open letter to her fiance urging him to call the whole thing off.

He advised Prince Harry in the letter that marrying Meghan would be “the biggest mistake in royal wedding history”.

Thomas also told the Duke of Sussex that his half-sister was a “jaded, shallow, conceited woman that will make a joke of you and the royal family heritage.”

He’s since backflipped on the shocking comments, claiming he was lashing out as he was hurt after not being invited to the royal wedding.

Thomas Jr’s own wedding comes amid a steep escalation in his father’s public attempts to contact Meghan, who has maintained a stony silence since Thomas Markle Sr was caught staging paparazzi photos and then backed out of walking her down the aisle at the last minute.

The former lighting director, 74, recently threatened to continue speaking about his daughter if she and Harry continue to ignore him.

He admitted to making some mistakes but said his son-in-law needs to “man up and get over it” before he gets “louder”.

“I’ll keep talking and I’ll probably get louder. Meghan and Harry’s silence empowers all the crazy tweets and insults against me and my family,” Thomas Sr said.

“The bottom line is that I’ve done nothing to deserve this kind of treatment. I cannot cut my tongue out and never speak again. I can’t shut up because they have opened the door for a million people to criticise me and my family.”

It’s not known whether Thomas Sr will make it to his son’s wedding, set to be held in either Reno or Las Vegas — but Thomas Jr is optimistic.

“Starting out the New Year by bringing our family closer together is definitely on the to-do list — it’s very important,” he told the Daily Mail.

“[The wedding] would be a perfect time for Meg to get together with my dad — who is her father as well — and just put all the past behind everybody and move on and be a closer family again.

“My dad would really enjoy that. Possibly it will bring the family closer — especially if everybody shows up.”
