It’s hard to believe someone as talented, nice and attractive as Dr Chris Brown is single. And even he’s surprised.
The TV star, 40, opened up to Stellar Magazine about how disappointed he is that he hasn’t met the right woman yet.
“It surprised me how much it got to me,” he said about being single at 40. “It certainly made me look at where I am in my life.
“If you’d told me at 20 I’d be unmarried and without kids, I probably would’ve been horrified. But it’s my doing. I’ve probably prioritised work more than I potentially should have over the past 10 years — to the detriment of my personal life. I love my life, but it’s not without sacrifice.”
The I’m a Celeb co-host was recently linked to The Loop presenter Liv Phyland, but there are rumours the couple ended their relationship late last month.
It’s not known why they called it quits, but Dr Chris Brown is aware that he’s not the easiest man to be in a relationship with.
“It’s a lot to ask of a girlfriend, to put up with all the travel and the lack of face time,” he told Stellar.
His love life may be lacking, but Brown’s career is going from strength to strength.
After this season of I’m a Celeb, the Novocastrian will begin co-hosting Chris & Julia’s Sunday Night Takeaway, a variety show based on the popular UK show Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway.
The show is expected to launch later this month and will feature extravagant pranks, celebrity guests and live musical acts.
Brown will co-host alongside Julia Morris with former NRL star Beau Ryan acting as a roving reporter.
