Married At First Sight’s most controversial bride, Ines Basic, has reportedly “cut herself off” from friends and castmates and is “living like a recluse” in her Brisbane home.
Ines first sparked rage among viewers with her frequent brutal verbal lashings of “husband” Bronson Norrish, including one incident where she repeatedly screamed at him to “shut the f**k up”.

But the real scandal began to emerge last week when she decided to pursue another contestant, Sam Ball, all while pretending she was working on her relationship with Bronson, in order to avoid being eliminated from the show.
The backlash has been so severe that Nine has disabled comments on any post relating to Ines on MAFS’ official Instagram page, and the 28-year-old legal assistant has been protected from participating in any of the usual media rounds.
But even so, Ines is reportedly struggling to cope with being the target of so much online hate, reports Woman’s Day.
A source told the magazine that the already-slim contestant has “lost about 12kg since filming finished” four months ago, and that “everyone’s really worried about her”.
On Sunday night, preview footage aired showing that Ines and Sam’s affair is set to turn physical in the coming days as the entire group heads to the Gold Coast.
Their romance may be heating up on screen, but Sam had nothing nice to say about Ines when grilled about her in a new interview with TV Week.
The 26-year-old tradie even said he regrets responding when she first reached out to him.
“If I had my time again, I probably would have never opened her message,” he told the magazine, describing her as “manipulative and smart”.
In a separate interview with NW, Sam claimed she may have been planted on the show deliberately.
“Ines is obviously there to cause drama,” he said. “She’s a key player in that.”
Married At First Sight continues tonight at 7.30pm on Nine.
