After the shocking end to The Bachelor which saw Nick Cummins not pick a woman, now the man known as The Honey Badger has been spotted overseas.
After making a dash for it before the ending of the popular series aired, the 31-year-old has popped up in a rather unexpected place, deep in the jungle.
After stunning the nation by rejecting finalists Sophie Tieman and Brittany Hockley, which left both contestants baffled, the former rugby star has been photographed for the first time since the show ended hiking the Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea.
Nick was pictured on the iconic track alongside five other blokes walking to raise money for the Zahra Foundation which aims to assist women and their children experiencing domestic violence in South Australia.
"Just when everyone around the country has been trying to reach the MIA @nickbadger after the @thebachelorau finale, the #ZahrasQuestboys were the first to chat to him deep in the Kokoda jungle!!! #bachelorau#honeybadger #kokoda," read the caption on their post.
No doubt foreseeing the media frenzy surrounding the explosive ending to the season, Nick managed to flee on Monday with his good friend James Brodie.
Together the two are completing the eight day hike while raising funds for Grass Skirts Project. The charity aims to increase gender equality and help women in Papua New Guinea facing domestic violence issues by encouraging people to participate in sports like surfing.
The picture of the in demand reality star surfaced on Friday, just one day day after his 31st birthday. The surprise image comes as Australia eagerly awaits to watch his "only interview" about the finale set to air tonight on The Sunday Project with Lisa Wilkinson.
Teaser trailers for the highly-anticipated interview show Nick explaining his side of the story.
"It hit me with a fair bit of a thunderbolt. It was just like, you know what? Out of respect to these women, if I can't stand here and say 'I'm picking her and I love her,' why would I start something with someone?"
Wilkinson, 58, is also shown asking why he decided to fly solo.
"But you do understand on The Bachelor, you're meant to be in a place where you're ready to have a relationship?" She asks to which he replies, "Um…."
In the trailer, the veteran TV host also speaks with both Sophie and Brittany as well as Cassie Wood, who many speculated would be the one to win over Nick's heart.
However speaking on The Kyle and Jackie O Show this week, Cassie revealed that she is still single.
"Going on that show it was kind of like a second chance for me and him and by the end of it I was so invested in him and I was obviously falling for him and he told me that he wasn't interested."
She continued, "But walking away from it, like he was the one that got away from me in the real world, and then I got my answer so I guess it was a bit of closure and he wasn't interested and that was my answer."
