The funeral for Kim Porter, the longtime girlfriend of Sean “Diddy” Combs and mother to three of his children, has been held in her native Columbus, Georgia.
Rap mogul Diddy spoke at the service, along with Mary J. Blige, Dallas Austin, Yolanda Adams and Faith Evans, TMZ reports, and Porter was laid to rest in a gold coffin.
Porter, 47, was buried next to her mother, Sarah Lee Porter, who died in 2014.
Combs, 49, who had three children — Jessie James, D’Lila, and Christian — with Porter, was photographed outside Cascade Hills Church, wearing a tuxe.
The music mogul also took to Twitter before the memorial service to thank his fans for their support.
“Today we lay to rest our ANGEL,” he wrote. “Her spirit lives on with us FOREVER!!! We thank you all for your prayers and support. You have no idea how much it means to us. We thank GOD for all of you.”

Model Winnie Harlow was also among the mourners at Porter’s funeral. Diddy also held a private memorial for his late ex in Los Angeles last week, which was attended by Mary J. Blige, French Montana and Pharrell Williams.
While the cause of Porter’s death hasn’t been disclosed, she was reportedly battling pneumonia when authorities were called to respond to a cardiac arrest at her LA home.
Since news of her death broke, tributes from the music industry have poured in on social media.
In a statement last week, Diddy and Porter’s extended family said: “God broke the mold when he made Kim, there was truly no other woman like her”.
“Although her time here on earth was far too short, she lived a life full of purpose and meaning. She was a loving mother and devoted friend,” the statement continued.
“She was the epitome of kindness and grace. There wasn’t a person she met who’s soul she did not touch. Kim was the type of woman who changed lives for the better. She will be forever remembered and missed by so many. As her family, we promise to honor her every day of our lives. We love you always.”
Diddy and Porter started dating in the mid-1990s and split in 2007. Porter also had a son, Quincy, from her relationship with R&B singer, Al B Sure. Later, Diddy adopted Quincy.
