Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, Dolly Parton and Diana Ross were among the A-list performers at today’s Grammys — but it was a brief shot of an unsuspecting audience member that proved the night’s most meme-worthy moment.
Diana Ross’ daughter Rhonda Ross Kendrick appeared on screen for just a moment during an audience shot at today’s ceremony. All around her — including Motown legend Berry Gordy — were applauding the act on stage, but there was Kendrick, legs crossed, phone to her ear as she chatted intently.

Why was she on the phone? Who was she speaking to? Did she know she was on camera?
So many questions … social media could only speculate:

Kendrick’s mother Diana Ross delivered another of the night’s most memorable moments when she took to the stage for a “special birthday performance”, singing a medley of songs from throughout her career to mark her 75th birthday.
“Happy birthday to me!” she exclaimed at the song’s climax.
Ross’ 75th birthday? March 26 … 43 days away.
Diana Ross yelling "happy birthday to me" is my 2019 energy

Please, can we have the extended Ross family host next year’s Grammys?
